Unfortunately, there have been several times when the App decides my login is no longer valid & there is no visible way for me, as an App user, to update my information.

This app worked great until it required my email address and password and there is absolutely no way to recover it. The screen only has a place for the email and password but nothing to send to the company to reset it.

Church life is a decent app that ties into ACS. So remember your account will need to match what information your church has for you in ACS and is admin-ed through ACS. So if you have trouble talk to whoever is in charge of your ACS programs at the church. Works great on the phones but is lacking on iPads. Screen stays tiny no matter the iPad size. Could be a great app but needs better development.

NO WAY TO SIGN IN NOR SIGN UP! TOTALLY WORTHLESS!

Got this app a while ago, and it worked fine. Got the latest iPhone and had a message it wasn’t compatible. Looked at it today to see if there an update so I could use it. I don’t have my password, and there is nothing to click on to have the password sent! One star is too many, but I couldn’t send without something!

I’m unable to log in or change my password. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it didn’t help.

We love this app at our church.

Can’t figure out how to sign up/sign in, even after getting the site number.

You are not able to create an account through the app. Seriously, how do I create an account??

I love the concept behind this app, but it is not allowing me to create an account. Does this mean I’ve been excommunicated? Seriously—I cannot find the screen that allows me to create an account.

What is going on? It will not let me register or sign in on IPad. How do u sign in if it will not let u create an acct???

Our church is wanting to replace the printed directory for this app, which is a great idea. One thing that we commonly hear is that there isn't a way to search via pictures. That would be a wonderful tool in the search page have the Pics beside the name. That's the only enhancement it needs. It's a go to app otherwise.

Contact the person in charge of the ACS program for your organization, you can't fix it through the app.

After the most recent add on or upgrade the app no longer remembers my log in info. 2nd review. It's June 3rd and the app keeps crashing on opening. Reinstalled it now telling me my username and or password is in correct. It's not. This app has been very inconsistent.

This was a useful app until something happened recently and it will not stay logged in. Even when selecting the option to "remember me" I still have to log in whenever I need it. It's very frustrating. It would also be nice if you had a setting to make it default open to the calendar rather than "people" which is what I need it for the most.

The app said I needed to change password and sent me to page to do so. After changing, it would not connect saying that email or password not supplied. So it is a useless app to get. Don't bother as it eventually will stop working for you.

There is no way to retrieve a forgotten password. I'm using the one I'm certain is correct, but it just says invalid, and asks me to double check. Not a use-friendly app, sorry

The app had member directory. Now it's gone! What happened?!

Church Life worked fine until I forgot my password. There is no way to recover it! There needs to be a "Forgot Password" link added.

I hadn't used the app for a while, but when I did, I had to sign in with an email address and password. I did not remember my password, but there seems to be no way to retrieve it. Useless now!

Can't write a review for this app - every user name taken...now they added site ID so can't access info. No help here.

The last "upgrade" in 2016 makes you sign in every time even though "remember me" is selected. Please, stop breaking this app! Clearly you guys at ASC must not use this app yourselves or you would fix this and keep it fixed. This is a simple process that other apps use daily.

This app is ok, but it won't remember my log in and password! Very frustrating when I'm trying to quickly pull up a phone number or check the calendar.

Update: this app continues to work reliably and after the last update the "remember login" feature does not work. ACS needs help moving into the mobile world. This app is unreliable and frustrating. For the amount of money our church pays for their service we should expect better.

If I had a nickel for every time this app has been broken by an "upgrade," or at the very least lost my sign in credentials in the process, I could fund my church's building campaign. Every ACS system is a mashed together mess, but this is ridiculous even for ACS. With this "upgrade," I'm forced to change my password, and then the new one isn't recognized. A screen reading "no email or password provided" after the supposed change makes the app worthless. Please fix this!!

The app used to work fine on my iPad Air (though it wasn't optimized to take advantage of the extra real estate an iPad affords over a phone, but no biggie.) now it crashes before opening - I see a glimpse of a login screen and then, gone. Sad, as it used to be very convenient to look up church members from this app including bringing up maps to their home.

Updates OS. App keeps crashing. ACS support, status update?

App won't launch. Crashes constantly. Please fix.

App is not working

With the new update, copying the address is no longer allowed, which is a pretty unhelpful thing. The address line now only links to google maps online, and you can only copy the first line of the address from there. Needs changing, and there is no contact info on the ACS website to let them know. Otherwise, it's a pretty good app.

I’ve been using this app on my MacBook for a few years. Thought I’d load it on my iPhone for convenience. No functions display. Not useful. Bummer.

This app is vital to our church ministries and the new functions in the much anticipated 2015 update are awesome on other platforms. Release the update please Apple!

This indispensable tool has helped me greatly as a pastor to know my congregation. I've wanted something like this for years. I've thought before about trying to put my whole church in outlook. I've thought, "Why can't I have everyone in my phone?" I don't ask that anymore. I whip out Church Life, and there I have names, pictures, directions (linked to iMaps), emails, cell phones, home phones, and the names of spouses and kids, all in two seconds, all at my fingertips. If I see someone in the distance, I sometimes check for their first name or their kid's before they get to me. It's golden. We're in the process now of exploring how to get this tool in the hands of all our staff, all our leaders, and ultimately, the members as well. Other than a new times with log on difficulties, this app works seamlessly, and runs perfectly. I have no complaints.

I need the info — which is limited — but sometimes it breaks — usually after resetting my password on my congregation’s portal into ACS. Then the app demands site number information to login that is non-existent. So, I delete the app and re-download. That has it asks for the correct login, and it works for a while again. Happened yesterday and the iPad App Store listing no longer shows any version, iPhone or otherwise. This does not need a re-write for an iPad version. There is no style or attractiveness to the app, so that is not the issue — using the iPad iOS better.

Tried multiple Times to login. Never successful even though I had all the information that I know is correct. Now it's just another app I can delete and unclutter my smart phone. I'll call the church office if I need any member info.

Lots of room for improvement here, but the main problem is this app makes you change your password and when it does, you can never log back in. Happening now to my coworker and me while our ACS administrator is trying to help us.

Worked for a while, but now crashes instantly every time I try to login.

I love this app and it worked great for me for the first month. Lately, however, I'm having problems staying logged in. And when I try to get back in, I get an error that my user name or password is invalid. I've restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app and that worked at first but then I got the same error again.

From what I understand, this is a great application, if it works. However, each time I attempt to login it crashes. I have a 5s and the most recent update, so I don't think it is a problem with my phone.

Our church uses Sage as our merchant provider for online giving transactions. This app doesn’t integrate with them. ACS sent us to Sage to find out why. Sage sent us back to ACS, saying it was up to the app to integrate with them. Either way, could you PLEASE integrate with Sage so we could use mobile giving?!

About every other app release is a epic fail! Very frustrating!

Overall it's a pretty good app. Nice to have available on the go. However in the latest update it lost a pretty important feature to me. The calendar list view no longer shows the room. Now I have to go into each individual event and wait for that to load to see locations. Makes it virtually impossible to see at a glance if a particular room is available or not. Please out that feature back in (or something equivalent like filter by room). That's by far what I use the app for the most.

After new update it shuts down on people search. No use right now when it isn't working.

There's a man named Tim who works at ACS who handled my problem immediately.

The giving feature really takes it up a notch.

Not able to serch for anyone under "people" Even if their in the church data base.

Very nice to finally have member status so up. Comments and connections is an awesome addition. It would be really nice to have a screen with my connections and leaders connections available. That would allow me to follow up with people without having to be near a computer. I have had this app for over a year but almost never use it because it was basically just another address book. If connections was fully integrated I would see this as a very useful app deserving 5 stars.

Thanks so much for adding birthdays!!! Now this app is actually usable for me!! I'm so excited!
